The program brought together lecturers from ICAEW partner universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Tarumanagara, Universitas International Batam, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and Universitas Trisakti, and universities in Vietnam, including the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Thuongmai University, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Banking Academy of Vietnam, and the University of Economics and Business, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh The Hung, Vice Dean of the School of Accounting and Auditing at NEU, thanked ICAEW for its collaboration and support in developing and implementing the program integrating the ICAEW CFAB international qualification into the academic program from 2017 to the present. The Vice Dean also welcomed and thanked ICAEW Indonesia and the universities from Indonesia and Vietnam for attending and exchanging experiences in integrating the ICAEW CFAB international qualification into academic programs.
The seminar covered four main topics:

• The first session featured an introduction by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Thanh Nga on experiences in developing a program integrating the ICAEW CFAB international qualification.
• Dr. Nguyen Ha Linh then shared teaching and practice methods for the Accounting course.
• MSc. Nguyen Phuong Thao shared techniques and resources for lecturers and students to use.
• Finally, a group of CFAB students gave a very engaging and charming presentation on “Who we really are”.

With seven years of experience in building and developing two programs (Accounting and Auditing) integrating the ICAEW CFAB qualification, the School of Accounting and Auditing at NEU is proud that many of its students have worked or are working for the Big4 and major companies not only in Vietnam but also in other countries in the region and around the world. This event also laid the foundation for further collaboration between the School of Accounting and Auditing and universities in Indonesia and Vietnam. The School of Accounting and Auditing at NEU extends its sincere thanks to ICAEW Indonesia and ICAEW Vietnam for jointly organizing the program and making it a success.
