On a gentle April morning at National Economics University (NEU), the brilliant red of shirts bearing yellow stars seemed to light up the entire campus during these emotional days leading up to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

These former female staff members, who spent their youth working at and contributing to NEU, have now returned with smiles full of memories of those vibrant years.

Though time has silvered their hair and their steps are no longer as hurried as they once were, their love for their country and for NEU remains intact in their hearts. This is not only a source of national pride but also a quiet yet profound message to today’s younger generation: “Live and contribute with all your heart.”

Without elaborate words, through warm gazes and affectionate handclasps alone, they recounted a quiet yet noble journey. It was the journey of women who devoted their entire youth to education, to their country, and to an ever-growing NEU.

Each woman is a small flame, and when those flames shone together, they created a warm corner of NEU, where love of country mingled with pride, spreading gently yet moving hearts deeply.
