Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President, delivers remarks.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President, shared that alongside its training and teaching activities, NEU consistently focuses on enriching learners’ experiences and spiritual life through a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Sports tournaments are among the practical activities that provide a rewarding outlet for students to improve their health, strengthen their determination and foster solidarity.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu expressed his hope that students participating in the tournament would help raise awareness of the importance of exercise and sports for better health. Through this, each team and each student-athlete participating in the tournament would not only demonstrate their abilities and competitive strength to achieve the best possible results, but also foster solidarity, interaction and sharing among faculties and institutes. This would help inspire a passion for sports and physical fitness and develop the sports movement, which has long been a strength and tradition among NEU staff and students.
