Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council, affirmed that throughout the past 95 years, Vietnamese women have embodied determination, intellect, and compassion. Each generation of NEU women has carried forward and exemplified this spirit through their quiet dedication in teaching, research, management, and behind-the-scenes roles, helping build and affirm the reputation of a leading university in its field.

“NEU women are like shining lights in a home of knowledge, both ‘keepers of the flame’ in their families and those who ‘illuminate’ knowledge, renewal, and creativity. Whatever their roles, they demonstrate dedication, resilience, and responsibility, making tangible contributions to the development of NEU within Vietnam’s higher education system. Many female faculty and staff members at NEU have received distinguished honors from the State, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), and the University, clearly demonstrating the intellect, resilience, and enduring dedication of NEU women,” Assoc. Prof. Bui Duc Tho, Chair of the University Council, shared.

Affirming the significance of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho emphasized that “NEU Women – A Radiant Journey” was not only an occasion to express gratitude and pay tribute, but also an opportunity to connect generations of female staff, employees, and students, together spreading the values of knowledge, humanity, and faith in the future.

Looking ahead to the 36th Trade Union Congress and the University’s 70th founding anniversary, University leaders expressed their confidence in NEU’s female staff, employees, and students, who consistently take the lead in creativity and innovation, contributing to the University’s sustainable development.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the NEU Board of Presidents, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho extended his best wishes to all female faculty, staff, and students of NEU for continued health, happiness, success, and opportunities to shine, so that every day at the University is a joyful one, every smile a source of motivation, and every action a precious contribution to the University’s sustainable development.

“‘NEU Women – A Radiant Journey’ will forever symbolize knowledge, compassion, and dedication, helping write the next chapter in the proud history of a university whose mission embraces knowledge and humanity,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho emphasized.
