NEU also fielded three other teams: NEU.Arknights won third prize in the non-specialist division and ranked 97th out of 129 teams; NEU.Arsonists ranked 41st out of 129 teams; and NEU.HelloKitty ranked 98th out of 129 teams.

Notably, following its impressive silver medal and sixth-place overall finish at ICPC Asia Bangkok 2025, NEU.Anarchaos—comprising three students, Nguyen Trung Hai, Phan Minh and Ninh Quang Thang, from Data Science Class 67 in the Faculty of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence—has officially qualified for the ICPC Asia Pacific Championship, tentatively scheduled for March 2026.

The results at ICPC 2025 provide further compelling evidence of the strong growth of competitive programming at NEU, where students continually nurture their passion, build resilience and confidently take on international academic competitions.
