In his opening remarks, Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh – Vice President of the National Economics University emphasized that the labor market is rapidly changing under the impact of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and new demands on workforce capabilities. In this context, internships are not merely a part of the academic curriculum but also a crucial step for students to familiarize themselves with the real working environment, hone professional skills, and gradually affirm their personal competencies.

According to Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh, with a training orientation linked to practical experience, the National Economics University always considers businesses as important partners in the training process. The university continuously expands its network of collaborations, develops a career and employment ecosystem, and creates conditions for students to engage with businesses early through internship programs, career experiences, company visits, skill training programs, and job fairs.

NEU Internship Day 2026 is a key activity in the series of career orientation and job connection programs for students at the National Economics University. The event aims to bridge the gap between academia and the labor market, while providing a platform for students to directly meet and learn about the working environment and recruitment requirements of businesses.

At the advisory and recruitment area, students have the opportunity to access various internship positions in fields such as finance-banking, accounting-auditing, marketing, business, technology, e-commerce, logistics, human resources, and many other sectors. Business representatives directly advise on recruitment positions, competency requirements, career development paths, and address issues of interest to students in their search for internship opportunities.

Beyond providing recruitment information, the event also offers students the chance to apply and engage directly with employers, thereby gaining a clearer understanding of the actual demands of the labor market. It is also an occasion for students to reassess their capabilities and identify the knowledge and skills they need to further develop before officially entering the labor market.

Students exchange information and seek internship opportunities with businesses

Through the program, businesses also have the opportunity to access the young, dynamic, and well-trained human resources of the National Economics University; while strengthening connections with the University in training, career orientation, internships, and recruitment activities. Feedback from businesses on labor market requirements is also a valuable source of practical information, contributing to the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance training quality and students’ career adaptability.

With the participation of 14 businesses offering a large number of internship and job positions and the interest of nearly 1,000 students, NEU Internship Day 2026 continues to demonstrate the growing need for connection between students and businesses, especially as students prepare for internships and entry into the labor market.

University leadership and business representatives participate in the program

The Internship Day – NEU Internship Day 2026 is part of the career orientation and employment ecosystem that the National Economics University is gradually developing in a synchronized manner, where business connections are consistently implemented from career orientation, skills training, practical experience, internships, to post-graduation recruitment.

By strengthening collaboration between the university, businesses, and students, the National Economics University continues to aim not only to equip learners with a foundation of specialized knowledge but also to create an environment for students to develop professional competencies, adaptability, and innovative thinking, ready to meet the increasing demands of the labor market in the digital era.
