On the evening of October 3, 2026, NEU Concert 2026 officially took place at the National Economics University, marking the return of one of the most anticipated events by NEU students each year. Over many seasons, NEU Concert has become a special gift to welcome new generations of students, creating a space for young people to meet, connect, and preserve their first memories on their academic journey under the roof of the National Economics University.

The atmosphere at NEU Concert 2026 heated up from very early on

This year, NEU Concert holds even more significance as it is organized as part of the activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the National Economics University. With the theme “Uptivate,” the program conveys the positive energy of youth, encouraging each student to nurture aspirations, proactively explore themselves, and confidently make their own mark during their university years.

Returning in 2026, NEU Concert features the concept “Cyber Galaxy,” inspired by a multidimensional technological universe where music, light, and youthful energy converge.

With the theme “Uptivate,” the program constructs the image of a universe created from continuously moving energy streams. There, each young person is a distinct source of energy, carrying unique personalities, dreams, ambitions, and colors that do not blend.

The image of “energy spheres” becomes one of the central symbols of this year’s concept. Each sphere represents a journey, a personality, and a unique source of energy. When standing independently, each light source possesses a distinct beauty; when converged, they create a larger energy field – stronger and more influential.

This journey is depicted through three inspiring states: SET OFF – SPEED UP – SHINE OUT, corresponding to the three stages of departure – acceleration – shining.

This is also the journey of every young person when stepping into a new land, from initial bewilderment, they go through experiences and challenges, gradually finding their own light and leaving their mark on the path ahead. Each journey carries its own source of energy, represented by each “energy sphere” with its distinct personality, aspirations, and colors.

When these journeys converge at the NEU Concert, these energies resonate, releasing into sound, light, and emotion, creating a shared moment where youth shines brightly together. From there, the memories and first journeys of each new student intertwine with the larger flow of the 70-year story of the National Economics University.

Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary, Director of the National Economics University, stated that the NEU Concert has long been a gift for generations of new students. NEU Concert 2026 is even more special as it is prepared by NEU students for the new K68 students and takes place in the atmosphere of celebrating the University’s 70th anniversary. According to the University Director, the enthusiasm of K68 will contribute to creating vibrant colors for the gift dedicated to them in their first days at the university.

Recalling the message once sent to K68 in the welcome letter to new students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho advised: “Aspire at the National Economics University, burn brightly at the National Economics University so that you have a brilliant and successful youth at NEU.” The University Director hopes that the NEU Concert will be an occasion for new students to express their aspirations and enthusiasm; and also extended gratitude to the Organizing Committee, sponsors, artists, singers, and those who have made efforts to present K68 with a remarkable program.

This message aligns with the spirit of “Uptivate” – when each new student enters the University with different dreams, personalities, and expectations, but all carry the energy of a new journey. In the environment of the National Economics University, this energy is unleashed through learning, experiences, connections, and creativity, allowing each student to gradually mature and find their own path.

Before the stage was taken over by guest artists, NEU students themselves brought youthful, vibrant performances, showcasing the talent and creativity of NEU’s youth. The meticulously prepared performances contributed to energizing the atmosphere, while also demonstrating the “Uptivate” spirit created from the very energy of the students – those who participated in organizing and those who added unique colors to NEU Concert 2026.

From this energy, NEU Concert 2026 continued to elevate with diverse musical colors through the presence of Huong Tram, Hoang Ton, Orange, DANGRANGTO, and OSAD. Each artist brought their own musical personality, resonating with the youthful spirit of the students, creating a rich emotional musical space and spreading the “Uptivate” spirit throughout the concert night.

Besides the energetic performances, the stage also offered a close moment when OSAD unexpectedly received birthday wishes along with a cake prepared right at the event.
