NEU Club Day 2025: The Vibrant Youth of National Economics University Students
On the morning of October 5, the NEU Youth Union and the Student Association of National Economics University (NEU) organized “NEU Club Day 2025,” the largest annual club festival, featuring engaging activities and a burst of color from NEU students.
In his opening remarks, Vu Tri Tuan, Secretary of the NEU Youth Union, shared that NEU Club Day, also known as National Economics University’s Club Festival, is held annually to provide guidance and information and connect new students with more than 60 clubs, groups, and teams at the University.
Through the program, new students have opportunities to interact with members of the clubs, groups, and teams, hear their experiences, and have their questions answered directly, helping them find a suitable home for the journey ahead.
The Secretary of the NEU Youth Union also expressed his hope that NEU Club Day 2025, with more than 60 colorful booths offering a range of interactive experiences, engaging challenges, and exclusive NEU Club Day gifts, would energize new students from Cohort 67 on their journey of discovery.
NEU Club Day is the largest annual festival, featuring engaging activities and a burst of color from NEU students.
Excited to experience NEU Club Day for the first time, Pham Minh Duc, a first-year student at NEU, could not hide his surprise at the festival’s impressive scale and the investment that went into it.
“Although I had heard about this festival, I did not expect it to be so crowded and lively. I am also quite overwhelmed by the choice of clubs, but I think joining any of them will give me wonderful memories of my student years,” Minh Duc shared.
With so many appealing options, Minh Duc finds it difficult to choose the club he wants to join.
Many students are also undecided among their favorite clubs, each hoping to find a home that suits their abilities.
The booths are filled with laughter as students take part in hands-on activities and entertaining mini games.
Joining the University’s clubs, groups, and teams has long been a cultural tradition that also offers something new for students entering NEU, helping them broaden their understanding and practical knowledge, develop soft skills, and expand their networks.
Passionate about her marketing major, Quynh Anh had been counting down the days until NEU Club Day 2025 and the opportunity to learn more about MGC, her favorite club. For her, becoming a club member would not only help her develop professional skills but also open up internship opportunities and provide guidance for her future career.
“Attending NEU Club Day has long been my dream, and being here today makes me very happy. I hope that by joining my favorite club, I can learn from students in earlier cohorts and gain more practical experience relevant to my major,” Quynh Anh shared excitedly.
Quynh Anh and Khai Hung both hope for the opportunity to join the Marketing Club, which aligns with their major.
Like Quynh Anh, Khai Hung felt that, despite the hot, sunny weather, the youthful enthusiasm and energy spreading through the clubs swept away his fatigue, replacing it with curiosity and excitement about exploring the University’s clubs.
After experiencing and exploring the booths, Khai Hung chose to become a member of the Marketing Club, which aligns with his major.
“I want to join clubs related to my major, marketing. In addition to learning from more experienced students, I believe I will make wonderful memories during my four years at university,” Khai Hung said.
Vibrant booths showcase the distinctive identities of the clubs.
Each booth strives to offer a distinctive hands-on activity to impress new students.
The colorful booths, each reflecting a club’s unique identity, covered diverse themes ranging from academic and professional interests to talents, volunteering, and groups for students from the same hometown, among others. Together, they created a vibrant celebration of youth where every student could participate fully and express their individuality. Along that journey, each individual would find the right home in which to flourish, break new ground, and shine.
NEU Club Day is not only a festival where new students can find their favorite clubs, but also an opportunity for clubs to test themselves and recruit talented new members to strengthen and develop their teams.
Quynh Anh, a member of the Youth Connection Club (NYC), and her fellow members value every University festival, as these events also offer opportunities to learn more about event organization and communications networking.
“Many more students are attending the festival this year than last year, and we are very happy to welcome them to our club. Seeing the enthusiasm and dynamism of new students also reminds us to keep improving ourselves so that we can support one another’s development,” Quynh Anh shared.
Volunteer clubs and hometown associations offer a close-knit community whose members help one another grow and enjoy memorable student years.
NEU Club Day is not only a festival for new students, but also an opportunity for students across cohorts to interact and connect, building a close-knit community.
Nguyen Van Dat, a member of the Bac Ninh Hometown Student Volunteer Team, still vividly remembers receiving support from more experienced students during his uncertain first days in Hanoi. This is why he and his fellow members always want to accompany and support subsequent cohorts of students.
“Through our club, we hope to connect students from Bac Ninh, introduce and share the beauty of Kinh Bac with other students, and build a united community whose members help one another in their studies and daily lives,” Dat shared.
With its special significance, NEU Club Day 2025 is not only a space for cultural activities and enrichment, but also the opening event in a series of activities welcoming new students from Cohort 67.
It is an opportunity to give young people renewed energy and inspiration for learning and personal development, while building a connected, dynamic student community ready to serve and represent NEU.
