On July 27, 2025, at the Outstanding Partner Awards Ceremony organized by IDP, the Center for Business English (EFL) at National Economics University (NEU) was officially recognized as the Best Strategic Test Venue in Southeast Asia.

The award was based on IDP’s comprehensive evaluation criteria, including the quality of facilities, test administration procedures, test-taker satisfaction, and the center’s role in the strategy for developing IELTS testing in the region.

After paper-based IELTS testing was officially discontinued in Vietnam in April 2025, the computer-based testing facility at NEU received approval from the Ministry of Education and Training for upgrades and expansion, becoming one of Hanoi’s most modern and largest test venues. With the capacity to administer tests continuously every day, the venue meets the growing demand for IELTS testing among school and university students in the capital and neighboring provinces and cities.

Results from IDP’s independent surveys and direct feedback from test takers showed that EFL-NEU achieved the highest score in IDP’s Southeast Asian partner network. This achievement further affirms EFL-NEU’s reputation, quality, and capacity to administer IELTS tests to international standards.

Also at the event, EFL-NEU received two other important awards from IDP Vietnam: Best Diamond Partner and Best School Partner for 2025.

International IELTS tests and computer-based mock tests at NEU are currently scheduled on an ongoing, daily basis, giving test takers the opportunity to experience the most modern, professional, and convenient testing environment.
