To meet the growing demand for human resources in both quantity and quality and ensure the competitiveness of Vietnam’s insurance market as it integrates into the international market, NEU assigned the Faculty of Insurance and the Institute of Advanced, High-Quality and POHE Programs to develop a high-quality bachelor’s academic program in insurance integrating ANZIIF certification.

The High-Quality Insurance program integrating ANZIIF certification is a full-time bachelor’s academic program in insurance that incorporates nine courses equivalent to 12 skill units at the “Certificate” level offered by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) within the Australian Qualifications Framework.

The program aims to train bachelor’s graduates in insurance with sound political and ethical qualities, good health and a sense of social responsibility; foundational knowledge of (i) economics and business administration; and in-depth knowledge of insurance, including (ii) insurance principles and insurance business law, (iii) types of insurance, and (iv) the operations of insurance organizations and enterprises, to enhance their professional competence to meet national and international standards. It also equips learners with the skills and attitudes needed to develop analytical, synthesis and systems-thinking abilities; think independently, proactively and flexibly; and pursue self-directed learning to expand their knowledge and undertake research at higher levels, enabling them to become specialists or managers in insurance and related fields and meet the country’s demand for high-quality human resources.
