Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President, delivers remarks

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, said that developing and collecting rubric scoring forms that meet the requirements of four ACBSP accreditation standards has been an ongoing process across all courses. Guidance on rubric scoring has been provided to the divisions and has received many constructive contributions. Previously, the School of Advanced, High-Quality and POHE Programs held its first guidance session to provide guidance and discuss rubric-based course assessment, drawing the interest and attention of many faculty and staff teaching specialized courses in the advanced, high-quality, POHE and Business Analytics programs. Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong therefore expressed his hope that the day’s guidance and discussion session would help lecturers better understand the system of procedures, forms and tools, have their questions answered, and share experiences with the rubric scoring process to be applied in the coming semester.

The next step in the accreditation process is to collect accreditation evidence, including developing and collecting rubric scoring forms that meet Standard 04 of ACBSP accreditation. The guidance and discussion session on rubric-based course assessment was held to specify the system of procedures, standardize forms and tools, and provide updates on changes to the ACBSP standards in order to implement and apply rubric scoring forms in semester 2 of the 2023-2024 academic year.
