National Economics University Opens Early Admissions for the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program
National Economics University (NEU) is accepting applications for Spring 2025 admissions to the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program. Through two pathways—admission review and entrance examinations—12th-grade students have the opportunity to secure early admission to the University as early as February 2025 in prominent fields such as business administration, international business, finance, marketing, and economics.
To apply, 12th-grade candidates must have an overall average of at least 7.0 across Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language in grade 11. The admission review pathway includes application review and an in-person interview in Vietnamese and is available to candidates who:
+ Have an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
+ Have A-level scores or an IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma meeting the requirements of the Admissions Announcement, or an offer of admission from a reputable foreign university.

The entrance examination pathway includes:
+ An English examination (exemptions granted to candidates with an IELTS score of 5.0 or higher)
+ A General Knowledge examination (exemptions granted to candidates whose national or international aptitude assessment scores meet the requirements of the Admissions Announcement)
+ An in-person interview in Vietnamese.
This is an opportunity for candidates to experience an aptitude assessment and prepare for the National High School Examination. The General Knowledge examination assesses basic mathematical ability, Vietnamese language use and appreciation, and logical thinking. The interview allows candidates to demonstrate their communication, reasoning, and situational problem-solving skills, and also provides an opportunity to receive guidance on their future university study pathways.

Established in 2005, IBD@NEU was NEU’s first international joint undergraduate program. Over 20 years, IBD@NEU has developed into a portfolio of academic programs leading to British and American degrees, with the following outstanding features:
+ Dual quality assurance from National Economics University—a leading university in economics, business, and management in Vietnam—and partner universities that meet international quality standards.
+ Flexible study models: Students can choose to study entirely in Vietnam or transfer to the United Kingdom or the United States to complete their programs through 1+2, 2+2, 3+1, and 4+0 models.
+ A comprehensive learning environment: In addition to developing specialized knowledge, the program helps students cultivate independent thinking, emotional intelligence, and cultural foundations through a wealth of practical experiences, international exchanges, and close connections with the business community.
+ Affordable costs: The cost of completing an entire program in Vietnam and earning a degree from a British or American university is only 1/5–1/10 of the cost of studying abroad in the respective countries.

“Holding a spring admissions round not only gives candidates an opportunity to secure early university admission but also provides an excellent starting point for preparing to study in an international university environment. It helps them understand the importance of well-rounded development in attitudes, knowledge, and skills to become global citizens. This is also an opportunity for candidates to test themselves and understand their current level, enabling them to better prepare for university admissions, particularly to international universities,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Dean of the Institute of International Education, NEU.
