The Science and Technology Awards for Students in Higher Education Institutions are the most prestigious scientific awards nationwide recognizing and honoring students with outstanding achievements in scientific research. The awards promote student scientific research while also motivating, encouraging, and inspiring students to demonstrate initiative and creativity in scientific research, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education and nurturing young scientific talent in higher education institutions.

This year, the awards drew an enthusiastic response from students at 95 higher education institutions nationwide. Of more than 15,000 research projects entered at the institutional level, 536 were submitted for consideration at the ministerial level, and 106 outstanding projects were selected for the final round. NEU had 19 projects submitted for award consideration, with eight outstanding projects selected for the final round held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
