Representing National Economics University (NEU) at the event was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council. Guests included Nguyen Dinh Thang, former Vice Chair of the Association; Pham Cao Phu, former Vice Chair of the Association; Phan Hong Quan, former Chair of the Association; representatives of generations of NEU alumni; and Ngo Minh Duc, an alumnus of Cohort 31 and Chair of the Southern NEU Alumni Association, along with more than 100 members and 12 NEU alumni member businesses introducing and displaying their products…

The event was part of a series of activities aimed at fostering effective cooperation between the University and the local community, developing useful and practical activities to attract and connect NEU alumni, and contributing to local economic development. During the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Liaison Committee also launched its office at 194 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3.

The Southern Alumni Association Office not only provides information and support for alumni but also serves as a source of emotional connection and a place for alumni nationwide to interact and connect, in keeping with the NEU Alumni Network’s motto: “Connect – Share – Cooperate – Succeed.” This mission will be carried out effectively through the efforts and sense of responsibility of members of the Ho Chi Minh City Alumni Liaison Committee.

The program featured three main activities: business networking; a roundtable for generations of NEU alumni to share management experience; and a review of the past year’s activities and the drafting of numerous activity plans for 2024.

The NEU Alumni Network pledged to continue supporting and working alongside the Southern Alumni Association Office in its upcoming activities. It is hoped that close cooperation among alumni will help build a strong alumni community that develops sustainably.
