Students received a wealth of useful and interesting information from Dr. Le Thi Huong Lan, Head of the Cooperation and Development Division, who introduced the IBD and BBAE bachelor’s programs managed and delivered by the Institute of International Education. An engaging question-and-answer session followed, with appealing gifts awarded to students who gave the fastest and most accurate answers. The school’s students also had opportunities to meet and interact with senior students wearing IBD@NEU’s traditional red shirts.

After concluding its activities in Quang Binh, the delegation traveled to Vinh City, Nghe An, to organize an admissions seminar on the evening of April 15.
Opening the event, Assoc. We believe that every student has unique potential and value, and we are committed to creating an open and diverse learning environment where each student can develop fully in intellect, character, and life skills.”

Continuing the program, Dr. Le Thi Huong Lan provided detailed information about the Fall 2024 admissions cycle, including general information about the program, partners, majors, study pathways, learning environment, and tuition fees. Dr. Le Thi Huong Lan particularly emphasized the experience of studying in an environment that meets international standards and the benefits of participating in extracurricular activities. The Institute of International Education’s staff have devoted considerable effort to designing and organizing these activities to give students the best possible experiences and memories during their studies.

In recent years, international joint programs have been regarded as an effective way to study abroad without leaving the country, offering learners the opportunity to earn an international degree at a lower cost. Graduates of the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program receive bachelor’s degrees from Coventry University, the University of the West of England, or Leeds Beckett University—institutions in the United Kingdom’s public university system that rank among the world’s top 1,000. Amid intense competition in graduate recruitment based on knowledge and practical skills, an international degree and the soft skills developed during this program help students feel more confident entering an international work environment.

At the end of the event, many parents and applicants asked questions about entrance examination methods and procedures, the advantages of international foreign language certificates in the entrance examination process, and the scholarships currently available at IBD@NEU. In addition to addressing their concerns, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Dean of the Institute of International Education, and MSc. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Specialist at the Department of Academic Affairs, provided further useful information about NEU’s admissions methods for full-time programs. This information helped parents and students feel reassured and inspired by the opportunities and challenges of studying in both domestic and international environments.
