In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao, Dean of the Faculty of Real Estate and Resource Economics, affirmed that AGRIUP 2025 was a student startup competition with practical significance and broad reach. It was not only an intellectual arena for NEU students but also an open forum for creativity, bringing together students from universities and colleges nationwide to exchange experiences, learn, and turn startup ideas into reality.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao emphasized that AGRIUP helps students apply what they have learned in practice, nurturing and developing an innovative entrepreneurial spirit while they are still at university. She congratulated the outstanding teams competing in the final and encouraged them to demonstrate dedication and creativity to achieve the best possible results.

According to Assoc. This creates opportunities to present ideas, test them in practice, and open up potential partnerships with businesses, where those ideas can become useful products in the future.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Thao expressed deep gratitude to the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), as well as the businesses, organizations, and experts that had partnered with, sponsored, and provided both material and moral support for the competition. She expressed her hope that these partners would continue to cooperate more extensively with the Faculty of Real Estate and Resource Economics at NEU in student training and scientific research, helping foster a spirit of innovation within the student community.

The “Search for Startup and Innovation Ideas in Agribusiness” competition—AGRIUP 2025—is an intellectual and creative arena for students passionate about agriculture. With the theme “Agriup 2025 – Continuing the Story of Regeneration,” the competition not only reflects the trend toward green, responsible, and sustainable agricultural development but also demonstrates the younger generation’s commitment to working together to build a modern, environmentally friendly agricultural sector in Vietnam.

This year’s entries focused on the transition to organic agriculture, circular agriculture models, resource reuse, and waste reduction, aiming to create long-term development value for the community. After three months of competition across three lively rounds, AGRIUP 2025 attracted 44 teams with nearly 200 students from universities, colleges, and academies nationwide.

With projects selected ahead of dozens of promising ideas, the six best teams earned places in the final night. Their members came from NEU, Foreign Trade University, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Banking Academy. They brought breakthrough projects promising practical contributions to the future of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
