On the morning of May 11, 2024, National Economics University (NEU), in collaboration with Saigon–Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), opened a training course on effective bank directorship for staff of Saigon–Hanoi Bank.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, praised the achievements of the cooperation between NEU and SHB and thanked SHB for its partnership, support, and cooperation over the years. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong emphasized that management remains a key focus and a leading concern for businesses, including those operating in finance and banking. How to optimize resources and achieve the highest operational efficiency, and which management methods can deliver key targets in the shortest time, remain challenging questions for administrators and managers. The Vice President affirmed that the training course was essential and of practical importance to SHB managers and leaders, in both theoretical and practical terms. He also expressed the hope that trainees would make the most of their time to focus on study and discussion, and, after the course, apply the knowledge and skills gained to their work, helping their organizations and units fulfill their tasks with distinction.

Since their first collaborative activities began in 2017, SHB and NEU have jointly undertaken numerous activities in a spirit of cooperation and development.
