The Institute of International Education is organizing a series of activities for applicants to the IBD@NEU program. “IBD – Awesomeness” is an experiential journey for students granted early admission to the IBD program in the Spring 2025 admissions round, with “IBD Mode: ON” as its 2025 theme.
Most admitted students already have their own general understanding of the program. This series of activities will offer them a new, more practical and personal perspective on IBD through experiences at each month’s event. These experiences will also help them decide on a suitable major at IBD@NEU. The series will run from March 2025 (when students complete procedures to reserve their places) to August 2025 (when they complete enrollment procedures). Each month will feature an activity with a corresponding theme. These themes are developed around the distinctive values of the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program.
April welcomes applicants with an energetic theme – Discovery Day
1. Colorful Adventure: Students will embark on a colorful journey to explore Lecture Building D2, where they will spend their coming academic years.
2. Tiktok challenge “Viewing IBD: My Journey”: Launch of a Tiktok competition to capture memorable moments and share inspiring stories, with a wide range of attractive prizes.
3. Trial Classes – Management Majors: An opportunity for students to learn more about the highly popular majors in Business Administration, International Business Management, Business & Marketing, and Business & Event Management, with the participation of experienced lecturers.
