The Institute of International Education is organizing a series of activities for applicants to the IBD@NEU program. “IBD – Awesomeness” is an experiential journey for students granted early admission to the IBD Program in the Spring 2025 admissions round, with “IBD Mode: ON” as its 2025 theme.
Most admitted students already have their own general understanding of the Program. This series of activities will offer them a new, more practical and personal perspective on IBD through experiences at each month’s event. These experiences will also help them decide on a suitable major at IBD@NEU. The series will run from March 2025 (when students complete procedures to reserve their admission offers) to August 2025 (when they complete enrollment procedures). Each month will feature an activity with a corresponding theme. These themes are developed around the distinctive values of the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program.
April welcomes applicants with a dynamic theme – Discovery Day
1. Colorful Adventure: Students will embark on a colorful journey to explore Lecture Building D2, where they will spend their upcoming academic years.
2. Tiktok challenge “Viewing IBD: My Journey”: Launching a Tiktok competition to capture memorable moments and share inspiring stories, with a wide range of attractive prizes.
3. Classroom experience – management majors: An opportunity for students to explore the highly popular majors of Business Management, International Business Management, Business & Marketing, and Business & Event Management in greater depth, with experienced lecturers taking part.
