On the afternoon of July 20, 2024, the Institute of International Education successfully held ISME Open Day, an admissions information event for the Fall 2024 intake, at National Economics University (NEU). The event attracted a large number of parents and students from provinces and cities across the country.

An overview of the program
Attending ISME Open Day were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Dean of the Institute of International Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huy Thong, Dean of the Faculty of Marketing; representatives of the leadership of departments, faculties, institutes, and centers; management staff; and, notably, a large number of parents and students from provinces and cities across the country.

Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang, Vice Dean of the Institute of International Education, introduces the Institute’s academic programs.
Opening the event, Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang, Vice Dean of the Institute of International Education, shared detailed and useful information about the academic programs that the Institute currently delivers and manages, including the International Bachelor’s Program IBD@NEU and the Bachelor’s Program in Entrepreneurship and Business Development B-BAE@NEU.
The Institute of International Education recently signed a cooperation agreement with Andrews University (United States) to launch a Bachelor of Business Administration program with a major in International Business. The program promises to offer students outstanding opportunities for learning and development through a “liberal arts education” model, considered a distinctive feature of U.S. higher education and widely adopted in Europe and many Asian countries. Upon completing their academic programs, students will receive degrees from partner universities in the United States and the United Kingdom.
At the event, Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang also provided both an overview and detailed information about Fall 2024 admissions, covering general information on programs, partners, fields of study, study pathways, activities, and tuition fees. She also highlighted the learning environment at the Institute of International Education, emphasizing: “We always strive to build the most dynamic and diverse environment possible so that you can develop in a well-rounded way.”
Proudly introducing quality international academic programs that help equip students for life after graduation, Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Giang affirmed: “With five in one, you will have an international degree in hand to help you become a global citizen, practical professional skills gained through hands-on activities, a mindset and readiness for integration, knowledge that is continually updated and renewed, and, in addition, the language skills to work and live anywhere in the world. We also believe that this is the key to preparing for your future and being ready for every opportunity. Even if you have different plans in the future or change careers, these are indispensable assets in any environment or circumstance to help you succeed.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Dean of the Institute of International Education, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huy Thong, Dean of the Faculty of Marketing, join faculty members in addressing questions from parents and applicants.
At the event, applicants and parents also received insights and in-depth advice from faculty members and staff responsible for the programs. The question-and-answer session was particularly lively, with parents and applicants actively engaging on topics such as entrance examination methods and procedures, program study structures, scholarships available at ISME, and transfer opportunities at partner universities.

Applicants enthusiastically participate in sample classes at ISME Day.
A highlight of ISME Open Day was the opportunity for applicants to attend sample classes and experience what a class as an ISME student would be like. Sample English and subject-specific classes, including Banking and Finance, Marketing, Management, and Entrepreneurship, ran in rotation, giving applicants opportunities to explore different areas of knowledge.
Participants also enjoyed engaging games and interacted with faculty members and current students. Wearing vibrant red and blue shirts, enthusiastic and energetic ISME students were dedicated to welcoming and guiding applicants and parents, as well as answering their questions throughout ISME Open Day.

The Institute of International Education brings many lovely gifts to the event for applicants.
