Institutional engagement has continued through several initiatives. In April 2026, NEU held discussions with representatives of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) on opportunities for academic collaboration and exchange.
In July 2026, NEU’s Executive MBA program collaborated with Tsinghua SIGS to organize a seminar entitled “Opportunities for Cooperation between China and Vietnam”, bringing together academic perspectives and business experience.
These initiatives have helped establish a foundation for further engagement between the two universities.
Exploring Opportunities in Digital Education
A central focus of the meeting was the exchange of experience and exploration of potential collaboration in online education, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), digital learning resources and AI-enhanced teaching and learning.
The participation of Tsinghua University’s Online Education Centre and XuetangX provided an opportunity to discuss approaches to developing online learning platforms, delivering digital education and integrating emerging technologies into university teaching.

Advancing Practical Institutional Cooperation
Both universities expressed their interest in building on the 2025 cooperation agreement through continued dialogue and closer engagement between relevant academic and professional units.
Potential next steps include further exchanges of experience, connections between specialist teams and exploration of mutually beneficial initiatives in digital education and technology-enhanced learning.
