The Admissions and Career Guidance Fair is an annual event for prospective students preparing for the high school examination and applying for university admission review. The 2024 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair was jointly organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with support from Vingroup.

This year’s fair featured more than 100 universities and colleges, with 280 counseling booths promising distinctive experiences and activities for students to explore career fields. The event attracted large numbers of high school students from Hanoi and other provinces.

NEU’s admissions counseling area comprises 15 booths

At the fair, NEU’s admissions counseling area comprised 15 booths, with participation from members of the Admissions Counseling Committee, 21 faculties and institutes offering academic programs, and more than 30 faculty experts who advised prospective students on admissions methods and the majors and academic programs for which the University planned to admit students in 2024.

In addition to providing advice and information, NEU prepared special small gifts for prospective students, along with a variety of other engaging mini-games.

An NEU representative advised prospective students to review the admissions information, majors, and programs published on the University’s web portal before attending the fair to obtain the necessary information; proactively prepare questions and concerns to raise with the University’s experts and counselors; proactively ask faculty members, experts, and counselors questions and seek clarification on their concerns; and remember to check in and capture their best moments at the 2024 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair.
