On behalf of NEU’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from the University of Economics – The University of Danang for the visit and working meeting. He emphasized that, over nearly 70 years of growth and development, NEU has established its position and strengths in education in economics, management, and business administration in Vietnam. “Today, NEU is delighted to receive the request from the University of Economics – The University of Danang to visit and learn from our experience in developing joint education programs, lecturer and student exchanges, international accreditation, improving the quality of scientific research, and developing journals in line with WoS-Scopus standards… In a spirit of open sharing, the University is always ready to exchange views and answer questions from the University of Economics – The University of Danang so that we can develop together, expand connections and cooperation, and create more opportunities for development between our two universities in the future,” affirmed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council of the University of Economics – The University of Danang, thanked NEU’s leadership for their consistently enthusiastic support for cooperation between the two universities in recent years.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh affirmed that NEU and the University of Economics – The University of Danang have developed a strong relationship in education and scientific research over the years by jointly organizing numerous academic events, participating in graduate supervision, and recommending researchers to participate in scientific research projects at various levels. These activities have yielded positive results and created favorable conditions for lecturers from both universities to exchange professional knowledge and improve research outcomes. The strong relationship between the two universities reached a higher level when they went on to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in teaching and research with eight other universities, forming a group of 10 economics and business universities in Vietnam (the ICYREB Group). This provided an important foundation for the two universities to carry out successful and effective short-term student exchanges in recent years.
