NEU’s vision is to become a research-oriented, multidisciplinary university spanning multiple fields, ranking among Vietnam’s top five universities and Asia’s top 100 universities in economics, management, and business administration according to international ranking standards. One of its first strategies toward this vision was to develop and transition to a three-tier university organizational model. Based on this objective, NEU developed a proposal to establish constituent colleges and promptly sought feedback from all its officials, staff, and employees to finalize the proposal and issue resolutions establishing three colleges.

Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of NEU, delivers remarks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President, said, “NEU has undergone nearly 70 years of establishment, development, and growth. Although many difficulties and challenges lie ahead, today we can take pride in what we have accomplished. Today’s results reflect the collective wisdom, efforts, and solidarity of generations of leaders, officials, staff, employees, and students. We can take pride in our facilities, the quality of our teaching, and the University’s increasingly strong standing in society.”
