On behalf of the University leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President, congratulated the 226 new part-time graduates who had overcome numerous difficulties in their work and lives to complete their studies and receive their bachelor’s degrees from NEU that day.

Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong affirmed that the success of the graduating cohorts reflected the students’ efforts throughout their studies, overcoming considerable difficulties while fulfilling both their professional duties and academic requirements; the enthusiasm and dedication of their teachers; and the support of leaders of partner units, who had provided the best possible facilities for students and teachers throughout their years of teaching and learning.

“Today’s graduation ceremony marks a milestone in your lives in learning and scientific research. You are now fully qualified bachelor’s degree holders in economics, helping expand and strengthen the country’s ranks of economic researchers. However, the University hopes that you will not be content with that qualification alone. Strive to learn and educate yourselves in every position and field of work. The University’s concern is the quality of education, which will be assessed more fully and accurately through each person’s application of the knowledge acquired to their professional practice. The University has provided you only with fundamental knowledge of economics and business administration practices. This knowledge certainly cannot fully meet the practical demands of each person’s work or the demands of the country’s continuously developing economy. Building on the curriculum and methodologies you have studied, you must continue learning and researching issues arising from your professional practice,” emphasized Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong.

Addressing the new graduates, Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President, shared that each of their achievements and each step in their growth was a source of pride for the University and joy for their teachers. These affirmed the University’s reputation for educational quality. “We hope that, from today, you will be even more active and enthusiastic in your work and in research and creative endeavors, helping uphold and enhance the University’s reputation in society. NEU always believes in you, stands alongside you and is ready to provide both moral and intellectual support to help you continue building and nurturing your ambitions and dreams. From today, you are officially NEU alumni and communications ambassadors for the University, carrying the image of National Economics University in your hearts and on your shoulders.”
