On behalf of the University’s educators, Assoc. Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong stated that, through nearly 70 years of development, NEU has maintained its position as one of Vietnam’s largest and most reputable centers for education and professional development in economic management and business administration. NEU has educated generations of highly qualified, dynamic managers capable of adopting new technologies to meet the demands of a market economy. Generations of the University’s graduates have made important contributions to the development of industries and sectors across the country. Many currently hold important positions in Party bodies, the National Assembly, the Government, and corporations and enterprises.

Reflecting on this development, Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong noted: “In 2006, in line with global educational trends, NEU established the Center for Distance Education with the task of organizing and developing E-Learning distance education formats. Over the 17 years since its establishment, the Center for Distance Education has taken pride in pioneering the application of advanced technology in higher education, fulfilling the noble mission of ‘Learning opportunities and lifelong learning for everyone.’”

Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, also affirmed that, guided by the principle of “Putting learners at the center,” students would have access to today’s most advanced learning methods, enabling them to take an active role in their studies. The University’s highly qualified and experienced lecturers and academic management staff would also support them throughout their studies. “I believe that the NEU-Elearning program will offer you genuine value and help you build your path to future success,” Assoc. This university has a rich tradition built over nearly 70 years of development and has been awarded the title of Labor Hero in the renewal period. It is not only a cradle of education that produces graduates with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in economics who possess strong ethics, good character, and excellent professional expertise, but also a leading center for high-quality scientific research in Vietnam.

“At a leading university in economics and business administration, we hope to develop ourselves in a dynamic and professional environment, gain access to modern knowledge, apply it in practical lessons, and quickly put it into practice in our current jobs. Online learning will give us access to a modern learning format suited to working people like us. We can study anytime, anywhere, with opportunities to strengthen our knowledge, improve ourselves, and confidently move forward on our future paths,” new student Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung said.

Affirming her pride in being an NEU student, Thuy Dung said that she and her fellow students pledged to make every effort to further enrich the University’s tradition of nearly 70 years of development.
