These efforts would meet the need for continuous and lifelong learning in the current context and contribute to even greater success in distance education activities in 2025 and subsequent years.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Quang Vinh, Director of the Center for Distance Education, presents the review report
At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Quang Vinh, Director of the Center for Distance Education, presented a report reviewing distance education activities and outlining the plan for 2025.
According to the report, the quality of students admitted to the program continued to improve in 2024, with admission cutoff scores rising across successive admissions rounds. In addition, 95.16% of students who received admission decisions enrolled, totaling more than 3,000 students. The Center is also continuing to carry out tasks under the project to improve the quality of distance education activities and expand education and admissions activities abroad…
Given the current state of admissions activities and the difficulties and challenges involved, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Quang Vinh expressed his hope that the Center would receive even more active support from the Board of Management, functional units, and the faculty and staff of NEU. This support would help the Center complete its plans for producing learning materials and developing facilities soon, urgently addressing bottlenecks in education delivery and thereby achieving both immediate and long-term development goals.
At the conference, the University leadership also awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 groups and 16 individuals for outstanding achievements in distance education in 2024.
