Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong emphasized that NEU always seeks to provide the best possible learning environment for students to fully develop their potential and creativity. Together with the knowledge they acquire at NEU, this will help them enter the high-quality labor market with confidence and the best possible preparation.

Prof. Pham Hong Chuong also thanked students and acknowledged all their contributions. He encouraged them to frankly express their views on issues relating to their educational rights so that the relevant units could quickly find solutions to existing shortcomings, create the best possible conditions for students to study at the University, and improve educational quality in all circumstances.

MSc. Nguyen Hoang Ha, Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Management, presents a consolidated report on responses to students’ comments and proposals following the faculty/institute-level dialogues

After more than one month of implementation, dialogues at the class and faculty/institute levels had largely addressed the issues of concern to students. The University-level dialogue aimed to respond to the matters students raised and clarify difficulties they had encountered with administrative and academic units during the past academic year and at present.

Statistics showed that all 24 out of 24 units held faculty/institute-level dialogues, meeting the requirements for the number and composition of invited participants. Most questions were answered by the faculties/institutes and departmental representatives during these face-to-face dialogues, meeting students’ wishes and expectations.

Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of NEU, chairs the dialogue.

Chaired by Prof. Pham Hong Chuong in a spirit of frankness, openness, and democracy, the dialogue saw student representatives from participating classes directly raise numerous questions, focusing primarily on education, facilities, student management, scientific research, and Party membership development, among other areas.

University leaders and representatives from the leadership of the relevant units acknowledged all students’ concerns and provided satisfactory answers in accordance with each unit’s functions and responsibilities. The dialogue addressed questions and proposals on issues of interest to a large number of students.
