NATIONAL ECONOMICS UNIVERSITY EXTENDS CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NATIONAL DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

On October 2, 2026, Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh, Vice President of the National Economics University (NEU), and Dr. Pham Sy Long, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department, attended the 2026 National Day Reception of the Republic of Korea in Hanoi.

At the event, the NEU delegation had the opportunity to meet with and be warmly received by H.E. Ms. Lee Miyon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam. The participation of NEU board of director  in the event contributed to maintaining institutional connections and promoting educational cooperation between NEU and Korean agencies and educational organizations in Vietnam.

Cooperation between the National Economics University and the Education Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam is being gradually developed in a practical and long-term direction. NEU and the Korean Education Center under the Embassy of the Republic of Korea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in Korean language education, opening up new opportunities for training, academic exchange, and educational connectivity between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. A free Korean language program has been implemented for NEU students and staff, providing learners with opportunities to develop their language skills, gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture, and better prepare for study, exchange, and career opportunities in an international environment.
