On behalf of NEU’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, President of NEU, congratulated the 400 new learners from southern Vietnam on officially joining the sixth 2025 intake of NEU E-Learning. He affirmed that this was an important milestone as they became part of Vietnam’s leading university in economics, management, and business administration.

Providing a brief overview of NEU’s establishment and development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong shared that, over nearly 70 years of development, NEU has established its position as a leading center for education and research. Under its new development strategy, the University aims to become one of Vietnam’s five leading multidisciplinary research universities and rank among Asia’s top 100 universities in economics, management, and business administration.

Recently, the University was honored to receive institutional quality accreditation from FIBAA, an international education quality accreditation organization. FIBAA is one of Europe’s leading accreditation organizations and a member of ENQA and INQAAHE. This recognition helps affirm the University’s reputation and the quality of its education and research internationally.

In response to trends in educational innovation, NEU established the Center for Distance Education as early as 2006, pioneering the implementation of E-Learning with the mission, “Everyone has the opportunity to learn and engage in lifelong learning.” After nearly 20 years of development, the Center for Distance Education has become a trusted provider, applying advanced technology to bring knowledge to a wide range of learners.

The President emphasized: “Guided by the educational philosophy of ‘Creating smart pathways for each person to become the best version of themselves and bring value to the community,’ the NEU-Elearning program will help learners enhance their knowledge, skills, and capacity for autonomy. 80% of your success comes from your initiative, active engagement, and eagerness to learn; the remaining 20% comes from the guidance and support of the University’s experienced lecturers and administrative staff.”

On this occasion, the University’s leadership also expressed gratitude to the lecturers and staff of faculties, institutes, and divisions, as well as partners, who have supported the program’s development. They also thanked the new learners and their families for trusting and choosing NEU as a companion on their journey to acquire knowledge and develop themselves.
