ICYREB 2025 aimed to establish and develop an environment for young researchers in economics and business to exchange academic insights, new ideas, and scientific research findings, and to discuss contemporary issues in economics, management, and business in the connected era. The conference focused on a range of topical issues, including digital transformation, the circular economy, sustainable development, and corporate governance. It also sought to strengthen young academics’ research capacity through activities involving the sharing of knowledge and experience and scientific publication.
During the plenary session, ICYREB 2025 featured two important thematic presentations by international speakers. Dr. Robert Radics (Lincoln University, New Zealand) presented “Green Supply Chains and the Circular Economy”, analyzing solutions that link strategic management with efficient resource use. Meanwhile, Prof. Gary Lit (a former lecturer at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) delivered a presentation on “Globalization and De-Globalization”, clarifying shifts in the structure of international economic relations and their implications for businesses and development policy.
This year’s conference focused on contemporary issues such as digital transformation, the circular economy, sustainable development, and corporate governance, while also seeking to strengthen young researchers’ research capacity through scientific publication, the sharing of experience, and academic exchange.
Notably, NEU had more than 30 research papers published in the conference proceedings, eight of which were selected for in-person presentation. In particular, two NEU research papers received the Best Paper Award, affirming the academic quality and research capacity of the University’s young researchers at an international scientific forum.
